My Trip to Wal-Mart This Evening

Christine and I go to Wal-Mart often and most times we run into at least one person we know. At times that has been frustrating to me because most of these people know me as their home town cop and usually are asking for something. It should not frustrate me, but at times it really bothered me. I'm off duty (knotondotee)...leave me alone!
Tonight was a different story though, as many times as I have been to Azle Wal-Mart, this has never happened to me. We ran into 9 people we know at the store and not one asked me for anything. First, 9 people and second no one asked me to do anything, pretty creepy and cool at the same time.
It is fun to work in a small town...your not going to get these types of things to happen to you if you work in Houston or Dallas. Working in a small town has its ups and downs, and sometimes the ups or downs depend upon your mood. I guess tonight's episode shared both ups and downs...ups... that I ran into 9 people I know and downs...that no one asked me for anything.
Creepy and Cool all at the same time...

Urg...I avoid Walmart for this reason! One of the down sides of every one knowing your mom...is every one thinking they know you too!LOL I usually have to check my behavior at the door and put on the friendly facade. Drives me crazy!LOL
